THE FIRM




                Rainer Law is a law firm based in Stockholm with long and extensive experience from a number

                of legal areas with a special emphasis on commercial contracts, lease and real estate law and

                Swedish and international arbitration and court litigation. The founder of the firm has extensive

                experience from business law, court proceedings and domestic and international arbitration.

 

                Mr Rainer is a trained arbitrator and has been involved in a number of commercial disputes and

                has represented Swedish, US, Chinese, Dutch, German and Danish companies in disputes

                regarding cross border transactions, real estate transactions, licensing agreements, supply

                contracts and IT-agreements.

                In addition, the firm has extensive experience from real estate law, lease law and general contract

                and commercial law.

Mr Rainer is the former head of the Dispute Resolution group in the law firm DLA Nordic (now

DLA Piper) in Stockholm and has during the last seventeen years had extensive experience from a number of arbitration proceedings in both national and international arbitration.

accounting Firm regarding a claim for damages.


Represented a Swedish Government entity in an ad hoc arbitration against an Italian counterpart regarding damages in relation to a consultancy agreement.


Represented Sweden’s largest gas company in a product liability litigation.


Represented a government entity in a case against an accouting firm regarding a claim for damages for negligence when performing accounting services.


Represented an Indian manufacturing company in a litigation against a large Swedish company, of which part of the case was tried by the Swedish Supreme court.


Represented a Chinese company in an international arbitration in Stockholm against an Austrian company regarding an automobile transaction.


Represented a major Eastern European municipality in a USD 250 million UNCITRAL arbitration against a US businessman regarding alleged breach of contract relating to the development of a large infrastructure project.
